Centro Escolar México offers a bicultural program in all its levels that consists in the teaching of the English language: Language Arts with its comprehension abilities of the language, reading and writing, spelling, semantics and syntaxes, knowledge of the grammar and oral expression. Subjects as Science, Math Review, Computer, Literature and Social Studies are also taught in English, which gives our students a solid basic instruction that allows them to compete with the best national schools, besides giving them the chance to study in another country with no difficulty.

CEM uses American and British textbooks that have been prized in the United States or in the United Kingdom for their high level quality and published by the most prestigious publishers such as: Harcourt Brace, Steck Vaughn, Harcourt Math, Prentice Hall, McMillan, McGraw Hill, Webster, Scott Foresman and McDougal Littell.

Starting next school term 2007-2008, CEM students will initiate to learn a third language, French. Foreing certified French Teachers will teach this new language. They are specialized in teaching it to latin students.

CEM's students develop Values and Virtues daily in every opportunity there is favoring the analysis of real issues and situations, which is translated into a continuous apprenticeship based on a structured Values and Virtues Program designed in our institution. All of our teachers receive special training that enables them to take advantage of these moments of reflection in their classrooms. CEM fosters group activities for the development of social and communication skills.

It is very important that our students are involved in Research Programs, motivating the search for knowledge in specialized books, encyclopedias and the Internet so they can come to their own conclusions and points of view, guiding them towards reflection and always respecting CEM's methodology for documented projects. CEM instructs students in the use of the computer as an essential working instrument of the modern world, and to encourage its use in the learning process, CEM is the only Mexican Bilingual School in the city that offers Discovery Unitedstreaming Education Media, scientifically proved for academic purposes from K through 12 grades.

Our institution propitiates Significant Apprenticeship based on a constructivist mental activity that favors the acquisition of knowledge as a result of continuous experiences in the classroom where the teacher's function is to initiate, orient and guide this mental activity in addition with the transmission of concepts and information.

CEM students acquire an ecological consciousness, understanding natural phenomena, aspects related to their health, learning to respect and protect the environment and using natural resources rationally, so they can be adults that are involved with the care and conservation of our planet. We encourage attitudes that propitiate the appreciation and enjoyment of plastic and musical arts besides physical exercise; all of this as part of an integral education.

When each educative stage concludes, the CEM student will be capable of reading, writing and expressing him or herself in English, achieving a progressive advance in the mastery of this language based on the certification of the Preliminary English Test (PET), from the Cambridge University in England.
